Become (Desolation #1) by Ali Cross

Hey guyz!
So, I'm back with a review which, you can probably tell from the title is not The Scorch Trials :(
It is however the book Become by Ali Cross. Okay, I'm not 100% sure whether this is a real published book cuz I read on Wattpad but, it is there on Goodreads and Amazon. So, I'm guessing it is, which means that I will obviously be reviewing it.

This is one of the best Paranormal books that I've ever read. I mean the only other YA Paranormal's that I've read (half) is the Hush, Hush series which was terrible....so that's not saying much. But for what it's worth I really liked this book. It is an amazing story of a girl on a quest to find her herself. To "Become" what she is and embrace that. It is a beautiful story though there a few cracks in the plot. But then again no book is perfect. I did feel like it was dragging at one point and I till very late in the book didn't fully understand the complete storyline on which it is based but it is a really good story and I can't wait to read the next book in the series: Desolate.
Okay I know I say that a lot but I genuinely can't wait to read all those books....

That being said I give the book a 4/5 rating. I know that may come of as a shock to you considering I just wrote a whole paragraph on why I like it so much but, even though I liked it very much I don't feel like it deserves a full 5/5 rating. But I totally recommend it to all you Young Adult, Paranormal lovers out there...

Okay? I know this was a short review compared to some of my others.... *blushes*
Anyway, I'll see you next time with another review :)

My Favs!

Hallooo!

Hey Everyone....did all of you get the little Marcus Butler reference there? *wink wink*
You can all probably tell by the title that I'm not gonna be doing a review today cuz a) I haven't finished any new book yet (if you don't include wattpad fanfics) and b) I've been watching Youtubers all day, it's very late here and I'm really sleepy so I don't have the energy to write a whole review.

So....I feel really, awfully guilty right now for not having finished reading a book, but you honestly can't blame me, these Youtubers! What can I say!? Sooooo extremely sorry...  :'(

Right. So, I'm gonna tell you which my favourite book of all time is.

So, my favourite book is the third book in The Infernal Devices trilogy: Clockwork Princess.
If you haven't read this book please don't read ahead cuz I guarantee there will be a lot of spoilers...
Okay. This is the most beautiful book that I have ever read. It is just complete. I know that sounds cliché but it really is complete. It has everything...Cassandra Clare's beautiful writing style, humor, grief, happiness, tragedy, love, hatred, evil, good, tension, suspense, sacrifice and let's not forget it has Will Herondale. It is just PERFECT.

Me being the emotional, sentimental person that I am was a COMPLETE wreck after and while reading this. I was actually in school when I was at the middle (sorta) of the book, and if you don't remember what happened in the middle of the book, well, Jem dies, or everyone thinks Jem dies. And we were having a proxy period at the time and I remember hysterically crying soo hard at this in class and literally everyone in the freaking class stopped talking and were just looking at me like I'm some kind of an alien. I had tears and snout running down my face and one of my best friends who was coincidentally reading Clockwork Prince at the time was sitting next to me trying to calm me down and I was such a mess!
When I went home I read the epilogue and if possible I cried even harder and it got to a point where I got a really bad case of hiccups and the worst headache and I shut myself in my room and just screamed.

The scene where Will finds out that Jem has died, when his parabatai rune bled and the cord snapped and his connection to Jem broke was heart-shattering. Literally. And then the scene in the epilogue when Will and Tessa's first child was born and Will insists on having Brother Zachariah perform the protection ceremony and when he finds out that their son is named James, how he covers his face with his hands and looks away. That scene killed me. It was like having a dagger pushed through my heart (though in reality I'm pretty sure that would be much worse).
So, Yes. This book killed me and brought me back to life because it is just that freaking amazing.

If you haven't read it then just stop everything, every single thing you are doing and go buy the book. Like, NOW.

So, that's it for this week's post. See? This is what happens when you watch too many YouTubers.
Some of my favourite YouTubers by the way are: Troye Sivan, Connor Franta, Superwoman, Marcus Butler, Zoella, Thatcher Joe, Tyler Oakley, Christine (polandbananabooks) and Our2ndLife.

Comment and let me know what your favourite books are and who your favourite YouTubers are.
Whoa....this is even bigger then a review isn't it?
Kay?
I'll see you next week. (Hopefully with a review).

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

Hey everyone!!
So, today's review is gonna be about the book which I finished just a few hours ago....which is Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I know I was supposed to write a review about The Scorch Trials but I'm sorry! I don't know why but all of a sudden I don't feel like continuing with that book. It's not that it is boring. Hell, no it isn't but I think I have a reader's block or something (if there is something like that).... Haven't you ever experienced it? When you really, really desperately want to read a book but can't bring yourself to read it? Or is it just me? Anyway so when I last wrote a review (The Search for Cinderella) I was also reading Beautiful Creatures at the time. And now I've finished reading it. So, let's get to the review shall we?

As always, if you haven't read this book and are planning to, please do not read ahead because there may or may not be a lot of spoilers...

I liked the book. I really, really liked the book. I wasn't expecting it to be this good cause I have a friend who read it and didn't particularly like it very much and I trust her opinion about books a lot, but where she hadn't liked the book, well I did. Maybe you noticed that even though I keep saying I really liked the book I never said I loved the book. I don't know why but it is the sort of book that even though I really enjoyed it, very much, I wouldn't say I loved it. I don't know why, I just liked it very, very much.

Of course, there were some really emotional scenes like Macon Ravenwood's and Ethan's (initial) deaths, where I obviously cried. I don't think I expected Ethan to die (he didn't though). I don't know what I was expecting, maybe Lena going Dark? Yes. I was kinda expecting that, but never did it cross my mind that the vision they saw when they touched the locket would replay itself exactly in modern times with Lena and Ethan Lawson Wate instead of Genevieve and Ethan Carter Wate. Except everything didn't go just like it did before. This time she brought Ethan to life again, completely and not just for a few seconds and what was taken from her in return was her uncle.

So, I really liked this book and I give it 4.5/5 stars.  I can't wait to read the next one Beautiful Darkness. But I'm (hopefully) not gonna start that until I've finished with all the other books I'm currently reading also. Which are:The Book Thief and The Scorch Trials and (I don't know if I can include it but) also The Search for Cinderella.

So, yeah...I've got a lot to read and a lot to study :( . Sadly I've got Summative Assessment's starting right after my vacations.

See you next time with who knows which book's review....

The Search for Cinderella

Hey Guyz!!
I'm so extremely sorry that I didn't write yesterday. The thing is, I'm currently on vacation in Istanbul, Turkey, and I was on a flight yesterday so I couldn't post anything....
And who am I kidding? I didn't know what to write about cause I still haven't finished The Scorch Trials and I'm currently reading The Book Thief (which is a book that cannot be read in a day or two). So, basically I have nothing (almost) to review today.  :(

But, I did say almost. I just recently joined Wattpad, which is (if you do not know) a website or app (which you can download on your phone or tablet) where anyone can make an account and write their own stories which others can view and read. It is more commonly used to write Fanfiction. Right, so the first book I read (on my best friend's recommendation) is The Search for Cinderella.

First, if you don't have an account on Wattpad, I advise you to make an account now.
Second, if you haven't read The Search for Cinderella on Wattpad, please do not read ahead cause there will be a lot of spoilers.

Okay. So, The Search for Cinderella is a good book. It isn't complete is the only problem. See, the only infuriating thing on Wattpad is that most of the times the authors prefer to write a chapter, publish it and then write the next chapter of their books which they publish after a week. Now, because I only joined a week ago, I was able to read 22 chapters of The Search for Cinderella in one go. But, the 22nd chapter ends with a cliffhanger. So, I'm basically going mad to find out what happens next. I mean Xavier just let the truth out.... he just blew up during the interview. I'm really happy he did but I just keep dreaming about what may happen next. And I'm not used to this kind of a wait to know what happens.

I really like the plot and story of this book, but the writing is bad. The grammar and punctuation and the writing in general is really bad. The author needs to get a really good editor before she publishes her book.

That said, I really liked the book and literally cannot wait for next Wednesday I think, when the next chapter will (hopefully) come out. So far I give the book 3.5/5 . Minus points for the writing....
I recommend this book  to all Teen Fiction/Romance/Young Adult lovers out there.

See you next time, hopefully with the review of a real book.
